Our Story
Two Birds Resources was founded in June 2020 by Gemma Gilbert during the Covid 19 pandemic. Gemma was in a role which she knew would not be in existence at the end of the pandemic. She was furloughed as soon as furlough came into place and knew that she needed to act before it was too late.

Gemma says, "I always had the ambition to own my own business but never had the courage to take the plunge. The pandemic was tough for so many businesses and it got me thinking. Small businesses really needed support in order to survive. After giving it much thought and lots of discussions with my sister Katie, I told her about my business idea and she loved it! She loved it that much she wanted to be part of it too. So we decided I would get things up and running and then she would join me.

In September 2020 Katie joined the team and we both worked really hard to ensure we nurtured our existing clients whilst still being able to bring more on board. We are now a team of 4 with assistance from Helen and Taylor and the business is going from strength to strength helping to support businesses with their admin and social media requirements.

Gemma loves building relationships with clients and getting to know their business. Her expertise is blogging and design, she enjoys building out websites and creating social media ideas.

In her spare time she loves spending time with family and friends and watching Rugby League and Tennis.

Katie works closely with clients on their bookkeeping admin and loves designing social media graphics.

In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends and family and watching her youngest son play football.
