Have you got your mojo back yet? It’s hard to get back into the swing of things after the Christmas holidays isn’t it? Surprising how a couple of weeks off can get you out of your routine. I really enjoyed the break and time with my family but I was definitely ready to get back into my routine. Most days I didn’t even know what day it was! That bit was not so enjoyable! I find it hard to function when I’m not in my usual routine.
I knew the first week back would be busy and I thought I was prepared for it, but it was so hard to get up that first morning at 5am ( my usual time). I usually get straight up when the alarm goes off, energised for the day ahead but god did I struggle! I was glad it was only a 4 day week for me but my time management was off compared to usual and I felt really disorganised, not like me at all! I sat myself down and gave myself a good talking to! I hate feeling like I’ve had days that just aren’t productive. Despite that I had 2 discovery calls in my first week back that converted to new clients so it definitely wasn’t a bad first week for business!
Anyway, this week has been much more productive, efficient and organised and I’m glad to be back into the swing of things. We’ve had a great first few weeks of the year and we’re definitely not feeling the January blues and January definitely doesn’t feel like the longest month ever like some might say. It’s flying by already!
We have even more discovery calls booked in for the next few weeks and over the next few months we will be looking for a new member to join the team, so watch this space! Lots to look forward to for us.
